Sustainability
At AVmedia, we're not only dedicated to serving our customers and each other, but also caring for our planet.
Our family members are dedicated to minimizing waste and reducing our environmental footprint.
Our sustainability practices are continuously evolving. We remain steadfast in our commitment to enhancing existing initiatives and finding new ones.
Being better is just the beginning.
Reducing
Carbon Footprint
AVmedia family members are dedicated to science-based sustainability initiatives aimed at reducing emissions and
minimizing our carbon footprint.
100%
LED
We’re transitioning to 100% LED lighting and laser projectors, replacing nearly all conventional light fixtures and lamp-based projectors by end of 2025.
Flipping Over Recycling
We have several recycling initiatives at every event we serve, in our home offices, and with our hotel partners. One-use items on show site that can recycled are no longer thrown in the trash. Our family members are committed to using only recycled flipchart paper
in every meeting room.
Keeping it Local
AVmedia’s onsite production and creative services AV model eliminates nearly all the need to transfer equipment and other resources from around the market by storing more equipment and staffing more people on site. This model dramatically reduces the dependence on fuel from both equipment
transfer and unnecessary labor commuting.
Longevity
is Key
Our family members take the best care of our equipment to prolong the lifecycle. When it is time to replace something, that item is sold to companies looking for used equipment or disposed of properly.
No More
Plastic Bottles
By eliminating all plastic drinking bottles in our home offices, we have prevented more than 5,000 bottles from ending up in
landfills annually.
100% Rechargeable Batteries
We are in the process of converting all our common batteries to 100% rechargeable batteries. This will eliminate thousands of batteries from landfills annually. We hope to accomplish this conversion by end of 2025.
Going Electric
We are working diligently with suppliers including transportation suppliers to move away from fuel-based distribution to electric vehicles as soon as possible starting with local distribution under 200 miles round trip.
